Treatment Approach
The DCFP engaged in extensive social learning and discussions on the current ecological science behind dominant vegetation types throughout the Deschutes National Forest.
The discussions integrated social values into the best available science to produce the set of recommendations found below.
These recommendations allow the USFS to integrate DCFP perspectives into all applicable projects without the need for time-consuming consultation on treatment approaches for dominant vegetation types.
